Williams knows the business of communicating.  Successful in the high-wire world of public sector PR, published in regional and national newspapers and magazines, experienced in video scripting and voiceover, he has dedicated 30 years to sharing information and building beneficial relationships for clients and varied audiences. He is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America, the highest professional certification in the industry.

For 12 years Williams led the communications efforts of the Beaufort County (SC) School District during a period of unparalleled expansion and challenge, including major finance campaigns and crisis communications. In this time, and under his direction, more than $326 million in school bonds gained public support at the polls, helping build a better future for the county. His ability to deliver key messages to key publics, and to keep clients on message, will help steer you and your organization to new heights.

The National School Public Relations Association and the South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America have recognized his work with numerous awards, including SCPRSA’s Mercury Award of Merit for Community Relations and NSPRA’s Award of Excellence and Golden Achievement Award. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota. He is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America since 2002.
